Frequently Asked Questions
Generally, we have 4 litters of puppies per year. However, when time allows, we have 5-6 litters. We only have a litter when we have the time and attention to devote to the puppies. Currently, several of our females are maturing and we are planning to have more litters per year in the future.
Guardian Angel Shepherds originally specialized in breeding White German Shepherd dogs. Recently, we have begun selective breeding with colored shepherds, and now offer both. Please inquire for individual litter availability.
Our puppies are socialized with people and other dogs from the time that they are born until the time that they leave us. They are handled on a daily basis by a variety of people. They are exposed to various floor surfaces, and are introduced to food dishes, collars, and toys at a young age. We work hard to ensure that our puppies are well-adjusted when they leave for their new homes.
Our puppies do come with a health guarantee/contract. The contract must be read, completed, and signed by the buyer. A copy of the signed contract must be returned to Guardian Angel Shepherds for the warranty to apply. All conditions stated in the contract must be met for the guarantee to be honored should a problem arise. To reserve a puppy, you must call Guardian Angel Shepherds to check availability. We have a few questions that we ask potential buyers. We ask these questions because we want to make sure that our puppies are placed in safe, loving homes. We then take reservations on a "first come, first serve" basis.
