OUR DOGS:

Our dogs and puppies are all over-sized, larger, old style German Shepherds.  The average weights on our females can run over 90 lbs., many going over 100 lbs.  Most of our current females are in the 98-110 lb.  Our males run an average of 125 lbs. and up by the age of 3.  Our current males are anywhere from 105-147 lbs.  Achilles is in the 100 lb. weight range, and is not yet 2 years old.  Houston is 147 lbs. at 5 years old.

 

DEPOSIT INFORMATION:

A deposit of at least $100 is required to hold your place on the reservation list.  This deposit is non-refundable, but it is transferable.  PayPal, U.S. Postal Money Orders, or personal checks may be used.  If shipping is involved, payment for the balance remaining must have time to clear before the dog will be shipped.  This is typically 2 weeks prior to shipping. 

Prices listed are for PICKUP ONLY.  Air shipping or meeting halfway (within reason of our house) will have additional travel expenses.  They are calculated fairly and are added to the price. 

Disclaimer:  Post office money orders must be made out for the exact deposit or balance due.  If paying by personal check, AKC registration papers will be held by Guardian Angel Shepherds until the check clears.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1.  A deposit to hold the reservation, then balance made at the time of pickup.

2.  Full payment ahead of time, before a litter is born, thru PayPal, P.O. Money Order, or personal check.  Many choose this option to fit the price into their budget.

 

WHY THE PRICE:

1.  All puppies are totally home raised, as well as their parents.  Our adult dogs and puppies are on a natural/holistic diet and supplement program.  We do the best that we can for them and use the best supplies, as well as foods and supplements.  We believe that it shows in the quality and health of our puppies.  It is very costly to do this, and frankly, we can see no other way.  We raise puppies with love and common sense, constantly striving to improve the lines through holistic foods and supplements.

2.  All of our dogs are health tested, either with OFA or PENN hip.  Bloodwork is routinely done.  We adhere to the new protocol of vaccinations for our dogs and puppies.  Wormings are done regularly, as well as parasite tests through our vet.  In between scheduled wormings, we use homeopathic remedies to keep the dogs parasite-free.  This shows up in our fecal exams, and we do not have to do chemical wormings.  A lot of information on natural parasite control can be found on http://www.shirleyswellnesscafe.com, under "dogs".  It works! 

3.  Our dogs also enjoy many additional comforts, such as air conditioning in the summertime, their own kiddy pools, car rides to parks, swimming in lakes, and walks through town or the country.  We are blessed and rewarded with their undying love and devotion to us.  Treating them with love, kindness, and respect is the least that we can do.

4.  We use a licensed veterinarian, so each puppy sold here has been seen and checked by our team of vets.  They administer shots, as well as wormings.  Part of the physical exam is an eye, ear, heart, and joint configuration checkup.  The vet checks each puppy from top to bottom, including their bite.  The bonus?  The vets all love what they do, so they hug and love each pup too!  It makes their first experiences there a very happy one.

 

It has been my dream to raise German Shepherd dogs, since I was a very young girl.  No matter what the color is, there is nothing like a German Shepherd dog.  The care and devotion we have here makes for a very well-adjusted puppy for you.  You cannot put a price on that.
